Hold an art fete
- Give an art twist to a summer event already planned. You could raise funds for art resources
- Hold an art auction – exhibit and sell signed art works by local celebrities, artists, teachers and pupils
- Pupils could work in teams to devise arty versions of traditional games. How about 'guess the weight' of the sculpture, or the funniest caption, or pin the smile on the Mona Lisa? Organise a relay run to piece together large 'jigsaw' versions of art works
- Involve local art groups. They could make quick portraits. A potter with a wheel could charge for throwing a pot. Visitors could pay to make paper, jewellery or candles
