Artworks Research
Artworks research 2004
The most recent Artworks research report, State of the Art, was published on Children's Art Day 1 July 2004. State of the Art is a review of the state of art & design education in the UK after five years of intense change in policies and programmes relating to education and creativity.
Through a process of qualitative and quantitative research - involving questionnaires to schools, interviews with educationalists working in key organisations in the field, and an analysis of five years of Artworks winning work - State of the Art provides both a constructive overview and a critique of the state art & design education.
